THE FARM

 

 

We are a 5th generation family farm in Central Scotland. On the farm we currently run a commercial flock of sheep, comprising mostly of South Country Cheviot ewes producing high quality, 100% grass fed cross lambs. We pride ourselves in producing the best quality lambs which are all sold through Lanark market, just 7 miles from the farm.

 

​Lambing is always a busy time of year but one of our favourites. If you are visiting us in Spring you will be sure to see plenty new lambs running and jumping around the fields surrounding the pod.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Livery Yard is a means of diversification to support the farm business. There have been horses on the farm for generations and the livery yard has been running successfully for more than 20 years. We currently have 18 horses in full livery.​

 

During your stay, you will see tractors and machinery in the fields working the land. Around the farm we will be busy working with sheep, horses and general day to day activities. Don't be afraid to say hello ​​​​​​if you see us out and about.
